Character Name: Feliks Lukasiewicz

Age: 20

Appearance: Patient number 67592E12-1291067: Feliks Lukasiewicz Shadows_by_x_polka_dot_outlaw_x-d37c6ra

Staff or Patient: Patient

If Patient, what is your derangement? Why are you here?: Dissociative Identity Disorder, Paranoid Schizophrenia, Acute Selective Xenophobia

Sexuality: Asexual (Eunuch)

Personality: Feliks suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder, and therefore has two:
Feliks: He is extremely xenophobic in nature, shying away from people unless he knows them well enough not to consider them "strangers". He is also Paranoid Schizophrenic, which fuels his xenophobia. When in his "Feliks" personality, he can see and talk to his other personality, whom he calls "Big Sister". Once he gets to know someone, he is usually a little more relaxed although very skittish. He speaks with a mild stutter which gets worse when he's nervous or frightened.
Radomila: She is a 22-year-old female personality who seems to take the role of protective older sister towards her other personality, Feliks. She is normally very calm and social, but if she does not "approve" of someone to whom Feliks has taken a liking, she becomes very violent. Insists that Feliks' body is female, and that Feliks is the "other" personality. Speaks with a distinctly clearer voice than Feliks does, with a slight "valley girl" accent.

Background: Feliks has been committed to the asylum for Dissociative Identity Disorder (more commonly known as Multiple Personality Disorder). His 'normal' self, the one who identifies himself as Feliks, also suffers from acute selective xenophobia. That is, he has an intense fear of anyone he doesn't know, to the point of panic attacks. He relaxes around those he knows well, and can be friendly around them. His other personality is a 22-year-old girl whom Feliks calls Radomila (Polish name derived from the slavic rad "care" and mil "gracious, dear" - source) or simply "Big Sister". Radomila has been around since Feliks was very young, written off by his parents as an imaginary friend. When he was about six, he started referring to a "big sister" (Feliks is an only child), and his parents humored him. That quickly stopped when Feliks was nine years old. He began to act strangely. He had been a relatively quiet boy before... but now, suddenly, he'd grown feminine, loud, almost violently insistent upon the 'fact' that he was female, waking them in the middle of the night with screams of "Not my body!" However..... sometimes, he'd revert back to himself, seemingly with no recollection of what had happened, although he still had conversations with his "big sister". The bouts of violence grew, culminating one evening when little Feliks was playing outside. He went to the wood pile, snuck a small axe inside, locked himself in his bedroom, and castrated himself. The next day he showed his parents "what Big Sister did"... He was immediately taken to the hospital, and two months later, physical wounds healed, it was decided by heartbroken parents that he be transferred to an insane asylum. He's been there ever since.
